StarzMayaMoon Although we may not be conscious of the ideology or concept; each of us has a “proverbial” basket that we fill, empty and exchange which is composed of our life experiences. For some the basket becomes filled with feelings and emotions. For others the basket contains our fears, worries and doubts. And regardless of precisely what we place in our “basket” the energy or spiritual influences contained within ultimately either enable or disable our ability to define our true self. Our “basket” could also be described as a giant collage of our life to this moment; random events or emotions mixed with significant, life changing experiences. The reason my guides prefer the term basket is because whether positive or negative these are carried along, no matter where we go, nor what direction we take. And as you can probably imagine even a stroll in the park or the simplest of tasks can become more difficult when we are constantly toting around a basket filled with self-impressions. Imagine a literal basket with a handle and every move made required that you grasp your basket and drag it along. It also then means that each or every relationship has to contend with our basket and the basket of the other person, whether friend or romance. When we have aligned ourselves in balance with our true form, accepting who we are without the need for reminders, clues or useless bits of our past; our basket tends to be more metaphoric rather than literal. Which only denotes that the basket still exists but is so light, perhaps like a feather that it is without the power or weight to create burdens or obstacles? And for most humans that is not easily attained and often occurs only after we have added so much that it becomes impossible to carry. The majority of humans as they juggle their spiritual path with the free will and choice we have been granted are quick to fill the basket but fearful or hesitant to let anything go. So the basket of course becomes cumbersome, heavy and is constantly interfering with our freedom and our future. My guides have written about “spiritual hoarders” and although our spiritual basket is in a sense a necessary part of our life. However what we choose to place inside and what we select to eliminate is always negotiable and within self or via self it does not require any input from external sources or even other humans/people. And when we are always adding yet never releasing or emptying we become slaves to our basket and to all that it contains. This causes the disruption of peace, happiness or even the pursuit of happiness. It’s fairly difficult to for example enjoy an outing at the fair when we are trying to carry an extra hundred pounds in our “basket”. And although of course the term is a metaphor, the effects are real and powerful; profound enough to literally change our lives’ in every way possible. And it’s easy to spot or to notice for your own self if you have allowed you’re “basket” to overflow with unnecessary items (emotions, reactions, experiences etc.) as we will feel spiritually and emotionally much like someone who is literally toting a huge basket of rocks. We are often stressed without the ability to release our stress. We may feel fatigued, tired, and unable to anticipate the future or imagine brighter days. Often we seem to always be sick, a cold, the flu, sometimes even physical pain carried in the neck, shoulders and back-as if we were in reality carrying a literal basket. Our life can often begin to spiral into chaos and anxiety, sleep eludes us and we may not even realize how or why. In contrast those that have achieved balance or harmony have found the key to releasing and removing what is no longer serving our highest good. They (like taking out the trash) eliminate the “garbage” and/or can identify experiences that no longer are needed as reminders or for their identity. Those in balance are also able to add more positives than negatives. And when positives are placed in our basket, they are almost like helping hands making our basket lighter and almost weightless in some instances working more like an aid to moving rather than hindering. While it may be unrealistic to expect that major life traumas, experiences or life shifts can be tossed out or forgotten; it also does not always require that such be carried along each step we take, or brought into every place both literal and emotional that we journey. So the key to balance is the ability to sort through your “basket” and just as one would go through a box of old clothing, be ready and able to discard that which no longer fits, is worn out or beyond use and lighten the load. When we take the opportunity from time to time to evaluate and take stock of all we have placed in our basket something very amazing begins to take place and we transform that heavy burden into an airy, light part of who we are and who we will be. It’s important that we all have our own unique spiritual basket, containing snippets of our past, present and even the hopes for our future. But just as with all things, we need to release or discard as we will always be adding. And when our basket is balanced and not empty yet not spilling over we find our spiritual being/energy and our human emotions. Then life seems to fall gently into place with just enough mementos to be individuals. Yet not so complex that we can do no more than carry that basket. So take a look beside you, or within your heart and soul and be willing to look inside your basket with the intention of clearing, cleaning and sorting through what you are carrying around as your life~ You may reach StarzMayaMoon at: www.starzpsychics.com/starzmayamoon |
