CD Review - The Renewing

I would call this blessed 10 track CD of breathtaking solo piano pieces 10 steps to Heaven, cause that is where I landed when I was done listening to it. The style is flowing, but with a nice sense of direction. Dramatic pauses and switching gave the music a drama and depth all it's own. Each note told a story. I would recommend this heart soaring event to anyone wanting to feel alive. Thanks Isaac, I could sense you every step of the way.

1. Tears Can Fall - Boy oh boy, I could feel the tears and emotion in this one, a lot of love, healing and pain.

2. Let Me Sleep - So sweet and flowing, intense and gentle all at the same time.

3. Good Company - A cute and tripping little ditty, It made my inner child dance. (my favorite)

4. Doors of Life - I relaxed so much and heaved a big sigh of relief, what a serene energy.

5. Countdown - Deep and voluminous, reminded me of the river flowing out back of the house.

6. Simple Moments - A lot of reflecting and dreaming of the future.

7. Pretty Fingers - Reminded me of a music box, lighthearted and free.

8. All Smiles - Rhythmic and happy, I could feel Isaac's energy very strongly in this one.

9. Dimming the Light - Searching, my mind just kept reaching higher and higher.

10. Slow Down - Kinda different from the others, a whole lot of soul and reflection. Beautiful piece.
