One Day on Avenue U

I know not where

and when I got there

I was standing in front of Puppy City

On Avenue U

In the window

was the cutest puppy

tail wagging

jumping up and down

showing off just for me!!!

And I began to sing

How much is that doggie in the window?

The one with the waggily tail

How much is that doggie in the window?

I do hope that doggie's for sale. (Originally sung by Patti Page 1950)

And yes he was!!!!!
