![]() Writing this article has proven to be surprisingly difficult because I am apprehensive of describing to you what I have uncovered. Numerous religious paths abound with descriptions of the afterlife that I have discovered to be completely false. What I need to disclose is controversial, and by denying traditional teachings and holy scriptures, it's close to being offensive. Talking about this in the past has caused a great deal of anger, and that is not my intention. So if you are sensitive about your beliefs, I suggest that you avoid reading this. I have briefly discussed reincarnation and the afterlife in past articles, and the first issue this leads to is the existence of the soul. The soul is a complex concept with countless definitions. If I say the word soul, in general, people apply their definition to the word. Whether or not the soul exists depends entirely on your definition of soul. If the definition of the soul is, the noncorporeal part of a person which is neither living nor dead and continues on after the death of the body, then yes, we have souls. You’ll notice I did not say immortal or indestructible, and that is because the energy that our spiritual bodies and awarenesses are made of is not immortal. Our souls, or whatever you choose to call them. can die if not cared for correctly. Incidentally, this definition of soul does not contradict traditional Buddhism. Buddhism denies the existence of the Atman, which is an immortal, unchangeable soul. The Atman in the past has been incorrectly translated as a soul in general or the ego, which is a person’s own sense of self. This has caused a great deal of confusion among Buddhist students, and led many down incorrect paths and away from true enlightenment. Part of the main focus of Vitalist Spirituality involves caring for our fragile souls so that they may evolve, grow stronger and move on to future incarnations. The first thing that you must understand about your soul is that while it is destructible, only you can destroy it. It can be damaged by others, but if you stay on the correct path it can be repaired. Your soul must be protected and only through proper meditation and personal choices will you be able to protect your non-corporeal self and avoid destroying your soul. Believing that the soul is immortal and indestructible has caused many in the past to take unnecessary risks which ultimately led to their own annihilations. I want to prevent others from making this mistake, which is part of my real intention in sharing this knowledge. The existence of the soul in Vitalist Spirituality does not lead to denial of the flesh or elevating the soul as something higher and more important than the worldly flesh body. We are not souls living in a meat costume. A better way to view your body would be to see it as an extension of your soul, for in truth, it does grow from the energy of your soul and the specific lifeforce energy from which your soul arises. While you’re alive your soul and your body should become a perfect union, two parts of a whole working in perfect harmony, both caring for one another. The body should neither be overly indulged nor deprived and neglected, and the same goes for your soul. You should strive for a balance of both the worldly and spiritual for optimal happiness. We are here for such a short time, and you will have to leave a part of you behind when you move on, so enjoy every moment possible. In traditional Buddhism, we are taught that the cycle of birth, death and rebirth is called samsara. Rebirth is a kind of punishment for the “soul” and to escape it we must attain enlightenment, and achieve nirvana. When nirvana is attained no suffering and we are released from the bounds of karma. This notion, in Vitalist Spirituality, is considered something akin to a sacrilege, as I will explain. This Buddhist philosophy relegates the entire cycle of birth, death and rebirth to something wrong and bad that we must escape from. If we are still here, we are not enlightened, but unevolved and impure. This attitude is completely disrespectful to the Vital Force itself. The cycle of birth, death and rebirth and our very lives are a gift from the Vital Force, something to be respected and loved. What is the point of attaining enlightenment and gaining true knowledge only to leave the cycle of life, never share it with others and use it to improve the world of the living? I like to use Buddhist terms, so these are the ones I will use here. If you find appropriate words that are more comfortable for you, feel free to use them. The word samsara has countless meanings, but has come to mean a miserable cycle of endless births and deaths. The original root words are actually rather positive: “The world” and “flowing around”. If the meaning had been kept pure and free from nasty connotations, it would be an acceptable word for this cycle in general. It has not, so therefore I will use it to describe the negative cycle. The negative cycle of birth, death and rebirth means that not only do you suffer needlessly but that you are moving from more to less. One of the myths surrounding samsara is that it is endless, if you don’t attain enlightenment you will keep coming back infinitely because you did not learn your lessons. But the truth is that this negative cycle is not infinite. Stay on it and you are headed for self-annihilation, pure extinguishment of the soul. Some people who believe in the teachings of Buddhism deliberately avoid enlightenment and commit heinous acts because they want to come back; they enjoy being alive and Pure Land holds no temptation for them. In teaching about leaving the life cycle, Buddhism has committed an atrocity. The truth is that there is no Pure Land, and upon leaving the cycle of birth, death and rebirth you are attempting to extinguish your spiritual self. In the context of Vitalist Spirituality, samsara means the negative cycle where you move from human, to lesser animals, to plants, into Hell and finally to complete extinguishment because you are not a worthwhile being that can contribute positively to the world in which you are born. If you don’t evolve and grow you will cease to exist. In traditional Buddhism, nirvana means a transcendental state in which you escape the suffering of samsara, and the effects of karma and achieve perfect bliss in some far away realm outside of the life cycle. Unfortunately, the root word of nirvana actually means to “blow out” or “extinguish” which should clue one into what might happen if you attempt to attain nirvana without the right understanding. The Buddhas said that the only way to escape suffering is to leave the cycle of birth, death and rebirth, and we are taught that the way out is through enlightenment. What purpose does a soul have in not living again and again? That which has no purpose is extinguished. Everything has to have a purpose in the universe or is eventually destroyed. Since the word nirvana has come to mean bliss, happiness, and pleasure (note the number of massage parlors named, “Nirvana”), I prefer to use it to mean the positive cycle of birth, death and rebirth. Perhaps it is too extreme a word to use because in being alive there will always be some sort of suffering you have to endure. But if you think about it, the very pleasure of being alive can far outweigh any pain or suffering a person must face. We crave and cling to life because that is the natural way, it is part of the instinct to survive. Our lives and the instinct to survive are a gift from the Vital Force. To throw away the gift of life that the Vital Force provides could almost be considered a mortal sin. I do not like to use the word sin, so I will say it is a grievous mistake. I would like it to be known that I do not believe that any Buddha ever meant to give us teachings that lead to the death of the soul. None who bore the title Buddha ever wrote down their own words. Their teachings were handed down by word of mouth for many generations before being written down by unenlightened scribes, and so there is no way of telling for sure what the Buddhas actually said. The Buddhas taught us not to believe things just because they are written in the scriptures, or spoken by a teacher or authority figure. They even advise questioning and testing their own words. I have done this and found the traditional teachings about samsara and nirvana to be thoroughly wrong. Since so many of the Buddha’s teachings are life affirming and lead us in the correct direction, I can safely assume that no Buddha ever taught us to actually leave the cycle of birth, death and rebirth. So please do not blame the Buddhas for this corruption. In Vitalist Spirituality, nirvana means the positive cycle of birth, death and rebirth. We move from less to more and avoid spiritual devolution. In attaining nirvana, a person transcends the delusions fed to us by the world around them, perceives things as they really are and learns how to work with the energy of the Vital Force. When one attains nirvana, he or she grows and develops into a more advanced being that contributes to the world. When you enter into the positive cycle of birth, death and rebirth, you can experience less suffering, more personal gain, and more influence over the world in which you live. What then is extinguished is your future self-annihilation, so the root meaning of the world is still appropriate. Skeptics are always so quick to point out that reincarnation has never been empirically proven, and what they don’t realize is that there is an excellent reason for this. Reincarnation does not work the way we have been taught, there is no smooth transition from life to life. The majority of people who have lived do not reincarnate as people, and of those that do, they don’t all return to this planet, nor even to this species of sentient humanoid beings. There are far more options in the universe than Earthlings. In Hinduism, it is taught that when we are born we experience a kind of amnesia that prevents us from remembering previous lives. This is true, and further complicates the issue. So reincarnation will not be empirically proven until the process is understood and more people come back and find a way to remember. Until then, we must rely on intuition and personal experience. It is taught in Buddhism that people who earn bad karma reincarnate as animals, and in a way this is true. However, I wouldn’t exactly attribute it all to karma. In reality, it is better to say that some people aren’t truly suited to remaining human and must become something else. For example, cowards reincarnate as chickens. Those who are too obedient reincarnate as dogs. The ones who spend their entire lives trying to make others happy become bluebirds. People who talk incessantly and pointlessly to the point of being nuisances come back as giraffes. This list is endless, and also includes plants for those who are simply not intelligent enough to be animals, as well as inanimate objects for those who throw away their lifeforce completely. But remember not all animals and plants used to be human. Most are just there. To further complicate the entire matter of reincarnation and remembering previous incarnations is what happens to us when we die. What we have as a soul is not a solid spiritual body. After death, the awareness and soul fragment. After falling into the stream of death, parts of the energy that are unsuitable for the main entity are shed off to become something else, and replaced with new energy. The most worthy part of the soul experiences a layover in a beautiful meadow as they wait for their time to return to life. They experience a life review and a lovely death dream that is meant to lead them back to life again. In meditation you might catch glimpses of people and animals in their meadows, some mourning their lives, others waiting patiently. If you do, it’s best not to try and speak with them. Waking them up can cause them to panic which can prevent or delay their returns, and you will be held responsible for this. At this point you might wonder what happens to the truly rotten individuals like serial killers, rapists and murderers. The truth is that there is a Hell, but this Hell is not like the Hell described in Christianity. In Christianity, Hell is a place of eternal torment. In reality, Hell is a place of cleansing that destroys the evil out of the lifeforce energy and either returns it to its original clean state to reincarnate or obliterates it completely if it is too corrupted. Either way, Hell is temporary, it can’t last for all eternity. That doesn’t mean you can continue to earn more bad karma and get away with it if you are already on your way to Hell. Hell has many levels and can intensify the pain of your cleansing as needed. Hell is custom made for the individual; it is made by the Vital Force bit by bit as negative karma is earned. Until you make your own Hell, it simply doesn’t exist for you. As bad karma grows, the Vital Force changes into Satanic energy and begins to grow demons to contain the culprit, creates their personal Hell and eventually sinks them into the collective Hell. Before we go on, I want to explain why this energy is correctly called Satanic. The most obvious reason is that these demons look like traditional Satanic demons, some people upon seeing them get confused and go back to religion. The word Satan in our language comes from a word that means opposer, and this energy opposes the wrongdoer until they are paralyzed and trapped by Hell. The final reason it can’t be called anything other than Satan is that when it forms a demon, it makes a sound that sounds like the word, Satan. It’s unmistakable. In meditation, when you see demons, you are getting close to Hell, and if you wish you can see into it. Hell, at first glimpse, looks like a massive black maze surrounded by red and orange flames with a massive double terminated obelisk floating over the top. This obelisk is a paradox, the entire universe is “inside” of it, and the inmates of Hell catch glimpses in it of everything they threw away. The denizens of Hell are inside the maze experiencing all sorts of horrors that relate to the wrong they’ve done. By focusing on parts of the maze, you can see what is happening to them. While I am on the subject of demons, I want to mention another type of entity you might encounter: angels. Yes, there are angels, but they are not the messengers and respondents of prayers of traditional religious myth. Angels and demons do not oppose one another but work on the same side. The purpose of angels is to love all that exists. Their love sustains life and existence, and without them existence will die. Sometimes they help guide lost souls back to the afterlife for reincarnation. White winged angels emit pure love, while the angels with black wings are the protectors and can be quite vicious. It is possible to become an angel if you love all that exists very deeply, do no harm to anything that must exist, yet have an aversion to the cycle of life and death to the point you can not be born. If you are fortunate enough to see an angel, it is best to just observe and leave them alone. If they have a message or a blessing for you, they will bring it without being asked. Disturbing angels can be dangerous. Harming an angel will put you on a direct path to Hell, and if you kill your angel you will never return. My description makes this all sound neat and perfect, but unfortunately the reality is not quite as smooth. I have explained before that the Vital Force is not all powerful, it grows and changes slowly. Oftentimes too slowly to contain evil quickly enough. Because of this, the Stream of Death has become chaotic with confused and panicked souls, and evil entities that have learned how to evade Hell. Many former souls are fighting against their chosen fates, they are angry over what they will reincarnate as and are taking revenge and throwing themselves away completely. It is best when you first begin your meditation to avoid bringing attention to yourself. Some Otherworlders attack the living. Work on strengthening yourself, learning how the energy works and earning good karma which will protect you. Once you have attained enough strength and knowledge you may be granted the power to help put these evildoers into Hell faster. You will never be able to put something in Hell without good reason, nor will you ever be able to use this power for world domination. You may discover as you are opening yourself to the Vital Force and the Stream of Life and Death that you are on a path straight to Hell. If this happens avoid panicking or giving up hope. You aren’t dead yet, and there is still time to change the path you are on. The Buddhas taught that meditation can correct bad karma, and it is so. You can ask the Vital Force to show you all of the reasons you are on a path to Hell. You must immediately begin correcting them and making amends. All of the advice I have given in previous articles will aid you. It may be that you are harboring too many false beliefs, participating in too many harmful activities or being abusive to others and yourself. It will take time to change your path but it is not for nothing. Remember your fate is created by your personal choices. If too many of your choices and beliefs have led to you being unable to reincarnate, or undue damage to all that must exist, your destiny lies in Hell. I am not telling you this to frighten or manipulate you into believing me and adopting this spirituality. I’ve given you instructions that can lead to you seeing this for yourself. You don’t have to take my word for it, but simply give this possibility a chance. I want you to save yourselves. The Buddhas taught that it takes many lifetimes to attain enlightenment. Avoid pushing yourself too quickly, and move at your own pace. There’s no race, so learn to be patient. The way is not an easy one, but the rewards are well worth the effort. May The Force be with you! Postscript: I have decided at this point to provide my email in case anyone has questions or needs further explanation on any points. Please email me at windangel1369@yahoo.com. Harassing or threatening emails will be blocked. Bio: Alecia Windfelder has an bachelor’s degree in metaphysics and has been studying metaphysics, spiritualities, and occult practices since her preteen years. She is currently working on her master’s degree and ultimately on her doctorate. There has been no other way to go for her, since ghosts and clairvoyant experiences throughout her life proved there was more to life than the mundane world. Vitalist spirituality is her own practice, created for herself, after years of studying countless religions and spiritual practices in an attempt to make sense of and strengthen abilities she was taught do not exist. She says, “Sharing this spirituality with others seems necessary after seeing so many other Universal energy believers attacked and belittled for their beliefs, as well as seekers who have not been given the option of exploring a ‘third option’ in spirituality.” |
