Change Comes From Within

Change comes from within.   I love this statement  .....  “Change comes from within....”   Like we haven’t heard that one before....so Yep, let’s get down and dirty with our self ...... or should I say, let’s go inwards and unravel some of our inner fears when it comes to dealing with change.    For many, including myself, modifications are not always something I embrace with open arms... many times during my incarnation this life I have been known to go kicking and screaming when invited, or as I saw it then, feeling like I was being forced into something new and uncharted.   Hey, the Taurean nature of me is the bull that won’t move until sometimes pushed, shoved or dropped into or away from situations.  Yes, there is a stubbornness within me and it has been my forever learning tool.   The biggy for everyone, including me, comes about when we reach this roadblock.  It can sometimes knock us for six and even if we have a strong and solid foundation in our spiritual life, we can dive into that pit of anxiety and question “what did I do wrong?”, or “what now?” usually with an expletive or two added.  Yes, usually we assume it is something we did, or didn’t do, that caused this compulsory happening to transpire.   But change usually begins when we are literally or metaphorically knocked back, sideways or spun around.  Spirit sort of slap us in the face and say, hey wake up in there, it’s time to budge, so go inside and get yourself grounded.   Yes, it’s that time when they want us to do our own inner maintenance. To check there are no cracks or gaps appearing in our foundations, because if we ignore it when a storm comes (and they do) we will find ourselves trying relentlessly patching things up... again... and yes, again.   So when we go within we actually activate our inner soul frequency.  Think of it like flicking on a switch and then everything is illuminated, we get to SEE it.  And once that happens, it allows us to evaluate and yes, it evokes change.  What we need to accept, is in that experience, we have the opportunity to grow in our spiritual life.  We progress because  when in this inner sanctum we can spend time working on our self.  We get the chance, the possibility, and yes the opportunity  to learn new ways to embrace and unlock our higher consciousness.    We are granted an insight to get a greater perspective on our life, the situation .  Think of it like this, our ego is outside whereas our vibrational spirit resides inside of us.  Yes, spirit, in those moments reveal the bigger picture!    I sense from spirit it is time for each of us to discover more, by opening our heart chakra and easing into something new from inside, because change does occur from within us.  Let us appreciate, when we allow transformation to begin, it’s not actually beginning, it’s happening ALL the time, we live in a continuous transformation because that is what we signed up for this incarnation.   So, when it occurs next time, because, I assure you it will.... instead of self flagellating, take stock of your life on all levels and ask spirit to assist you.  To stand by you if things get rough and painful....  To be your rock and foundation when you release the pain. .. and yes, to let the irritation out of you knowing they love you and will protect you always.   Change does come from within, and when it does, you now have some insights that may help you during that shift.    In closing, all I can tell you, from my own first hand experiences, when the shift hit the fan, I didn’t initially embrace it with open arms.  Only once time had passed and I reflected back to that modification did I truly see it for all the benefits that transpired from it.  So have patience, believe that whatever happens in your life, it is for your highest good.  Never is it a punishment or retribution.   I want to finish with this little joke that will lighten us... or enlighten us...   A Yogi walks into the Zen Pizza Parlor and said: “Make me one with everything.” When the Yogi got the pizza, he gave the proprietor a $20 bill.
