Remember to love all of you. That includes your scars, your perceived imperfections, and the things you think will stop others from loving you. You don't have to be perfect to play in the game of life. What you focus on expands. So love yourself more and allow love to enter as well. I read a post recently which hit home in a big way. It goes like this. "The longer you entertain what’s not for you, the longer you postpone what is." If you want to transform your life, shift your thinking and behavior. Many great thinkers and teachers have taught us the key to success is to shift your thinking and actions. Yet, we still spend a lot of time focusing our minds and hearts on what is not right with us and those around us. When we do this, it creates limits for ourselves and others. To align with these teachings and shift limiting beliefs - focus on what is right and wonderful with yourself and those around you. Let's play for a moment. Grab something to write with, get comfortable, pause with me for a moment, and breathe. Focus inwards, authentically connect your thinking and feelings, and ask, "What is right and wonderful about me?" Now, sit with that question and allow your answers to emerge. Listen deeply to the approving messages you hear about yourself and soak them in. Now, write it all down: everything that is a positive aspect of you. This simple process is one of the multitudes of ways to connect with your higher source. Do this practice about a friend, a loved one, for your relationships, a business partner, etc. Next Pause and close your eyes for a moment, take a deep breath in and then exhale, relax your jaw, and focus on gratitude; notice everything and everyone that comes to your mind and your heart, and enjoy. Breathe If any negative thoughts and feelings arise, notice them and watch them float away. Sometimes, you may need to wipe them off physically and replace them with good ideas and feelings about yourself, others, and the situation. The journey of self-discovery and self-actualization is robust, with simple reminders of practice and discernment, little pokes that create pathways to that inner knowing leading you to your next experience. These exercises are gentle reminders of the goodness within and with those in your sphere; you are worth it, and so are they, I promise. When you choose to awaken to all the good in and around you – even better appears. ~ Shajen Joy Lichtenstein-Aziz, M.Ed., M.A. Award-Winning International Best-selling Author, Educator, Counselor Discover Yourself ~ It's Why I'm Here http://www.discoverthegift.com http://www.alivingcurriculum.com https://www.linkedin.com/in/shajen-cheyenne-joy-aziz-m-ed-m-a-35053715/ Discover The Gift - It's Why We're Here ~ Published in 28 countries and 26 languages Author and Co-creator WATCH THE MOVIE -> GAIA https://www.gaia.com/video/discover-gift AMAZON: https://www.amazon.com/Discover-Gift-Shajen-Joy-Aziz http://amzn.to/1qCX2Qa |
