Dr. Stewart Bitkoff
Each day is another opportunity to go out into the world and create our own reality. Daily what we do with our life, in the main, is up to us. Even when life knocks us down with a fast ball aimed at our head, how do we react to this challenge? Do we yell, curse, quit the game and wonder why life has targeted us? Or do we get right back up and take another swing?
As we are of flesh- daily life- has pain and struggle attached to it. Yet many times the pain passes but the fear and worry linger. How to minimize our time in this personal world of darkness? That is one of the tools and techniques offered by the Path. Because as we learn to minimize our time in this negative zone; we have more time to create and look forward to more wondrous possibilities.
One way to minimize our time in personal darkness is to visualize the Light, and become a Light Worker. See the Holy Name emblazoned, with Golden Light, in every thing we say and do. Visualize the Name caressing and Lighting up everything about us. As we go through the day, see the Name Lighting up our boss, the cars in traffic ahead of us and our young nagging children; and for those few moments, when the Light of Eternity is aglow, we have changed our Reality from darkness to Light.
Over time, this effort of seeing the Named Filled With Light, in everything we do, will fill our days; and gradually our personal darkness will bow to the Light.
