My deathless Shade or I ?
(Happiness, attention, karma, rebirth)
To savor awestruck taste and texture,
stimulating sights and sounds,
captivating skin sense of love & warmth,
I lose myself, my thoughts cease
When absorbed in me, I am in ecstasy.
To sustain such bliss, can
my mind’s whirr & purr,
its relay racing thoughts,
be suspended without senses ?
for I just need to be with my ‘I’,
attention absorbed in myself.
But my mind restless, rebels
to stay resided in me,
seeks attention outside,
its existence threatened,
if my love light rests just in me.
Surrendering to my mind,
making do with fleeting
happiness of senses,
I end up with a life,
contending with karma,
withering and suffering,
carrying severe imprints,
in an undying mind,
that happily renders
a rebirthing blueprint,
upon this life’s demise.
