Foe or Friend ?
On a path or just in a flow,
I meet resistance or opposition,
delay, deceit or persecution,
conflicts ensue, reactiveness rules,
another foe emerges.
Provoked, I am coerced to adjust or divert,
fight or fine tune, hustle or give up,
seek another path.
Internalizing and accepting
despair, defeat, stress or regret,
when I don’t feel victimized anymore,
I see my shadow the event mirrors,
hyperlinking my blinkered denial,
in aligning with the flow of the universe,
a given as it was meant to be
Compelling me to change or deviate,
like a GPS to my life path,
Did the foe actually turnout
a better friend, than friends ?
Neither foe, nor friend,
we fulfill fated encounters,
squaring off unsettled trades.
