Yes, if you are feeling love, joy, or peace, I would say that you are indeed feeling the closest things that you can feel to the reality of what God is. However, I would exclaim that all of those feelings could not be felt in their entirety in this world. The true depth of the feeling of love is obliterating of the physical representation. Only an inkling is offered so that you do not forget what your reality is. Yes it is by your choice that you are in the separated world, and separating from Love was a big section of the “contract“. It is never truly possible to separate your self from it, but the awareness of it is almost as if you have entirely. I would consider it a practice of coming to the truth of God by forgiving and attempting to feel love in everyone and everything. Learning to open your heart everywhere, would be a profound step to recognizing that love is everywhere.
