![]() Community Conundrum As we slide and skim thru life, Family first makes community, Friends make community, Colleagues then, make community, Neighbours and natives become community, Shared interests make community, Social media takes over community. Community abounds, bringing belonging, sharing, validation, relevance Making us productive and esteemed. Despite all connections, the churns of our turbulent lives, unravel, dismantle, and unveil within us, a lack of belonging, a sense of isolation, A unrelenting inability to fully express, or bring out the best of our Selves, A suffered sense of emptiness. In satiating the need for belonging we learn to live by validation, justify us to ourselves, and deny our conformity to expectations that are pre- requisites of belonging, making us guilty, isolated, resentful, trapping us in cycles, emotional. We have ended up with communities, based on happenstance, correlations, convergence. We crave the unconditional safe space of home, friends, accepting hearts, as we indulge with stranger souls, to realize our talents and gifts, to make any mark in our co-created worlds. Is it possible to make communities of allied passions and hearts ? Where we co-participate to make our impact, as well as fulfill our need for Authentic belonging ? Only when we choose to live, a pursuit of a heartfelt purpose, co-created with kindred Souls ? Take the ConsciousLeap ConsciousSanjay September 2023 Mysticlivingtoday.com |
