My Interview with Steve Alten - Author of the Meg Legacy

I had the privilege of having Steve Alten on my show on Wed August 30th (see link below) and what a pleasure it was. He has written so many books and if you go to his sites you will be thrilled.  From the image above he is just beginning. The first movie i saw was "The Meg" and on the show he describes all the hoops he went thru just to get the screenplay done and then the movie.  As a movie buff it was so great for me to hear the making of the movie from beginning to end.  I asked him if he chose Jason Statham to star in the lead role and he said that he picked him as he just seemed great for the part altho it was his suggestion..........me too !!!
