Celebrate the holidays along Savannah’s Waterfront with our signature event series.    Christmas on the River – Friday and Saturday, December 8-9, 2023 featuring live performances, merry melodies and holiday cheer. A variety of dance and musical acts will be featured on Rousakis Riverfront Plaza on Friday evening from 5-8pm and Saturday from 11am – 5pm. Performing groups include: 3rd Infantry Band Gretchen Green School of Dance Life Moves Dance Studio Marylin Youmans School of Dance & Baton Oglethorpe Cheer One Spirit Dance Academy Performing Arts Collective of Savannah Savannah Arts Academy Savannah Country Day School Savannah High School Stay in your Lane The STUDIO Please see https://savannahswaterfront.com/christmas-on-the-river/ for schedule.   31st Annual Lighted Christmas Parade - Saturday evening, December 9, 2023.  The parade begins at Plant Riverside District on the west end of River Street at 5:30pm and continues to the east end, then winds its way up to Broughton Street and through City Market. Entries are still being accepted – https://form.jotform.com/221314793771155 New Year’s Eve Midnight Fireworks Show – Sunday, December 31, 2023. Welcome the New Year with our Midnight Fireworks Show!
