Holla Till You Get It!!! You say your life is in shambles And you can’t stand it You say you’re tired I clearly see you standing In your own path of pity while you pout I hear the words my faith is strong But I see you in major doubt Lying and deceiving yourself And those who depend on you And to think no one has a clue It’s time to take charge of your life And stop hiding behind your life’s strife And displeasing yourself You advise others to Holla till they get it When you don’t even scream a high note What life are you leading? What example are you setting? By settling for less In this life of confusion and stress You chose your life as a mother A follower can never lead if he Has never followed As our children follow our lead They eventually lead their own followers In the same manner in which they were lead. You’ve stated it’s not your responsibility To do certain things But as a mother if you don’t, what does their future bring The same as yours or with any luck they will manage In this world With no head start or morals to stand by It saddens me and makes me cry When you deny them an opportunity to say goodbye To our world of excuses and mishaps of our own blame. The shame is you didn’t Holla till you got it But instead, you chose to stumble and fold Never humbling to His almighty control. Stop sitting down waiting for something to happen Get down on your knees and as you rise to the occasion You have to fight for what’s rightfully your decision To protect, provide, and get your life on track to bringing your salvation back.
