![]() A key ingredient of the Nature-human matrix is sacred trust. In this context we step outside the religious sector and allow our understanding of the sacred to be a power at the core of existence that has a transformative effect on one’s life and destiny. When I speak of sacred trust, my understanding is of a transformative power that is reliably true, which becomes a pact or agreement between Nature and humans. When something is sacred, we regard it with reverence and know that it is worthy of our respect. We approach our sacred trust with Nature with honor, grateful for the remembrance that we, too, are a part of Nature. Take a moment to imagine:
My vision expands as I weave myself into the fabric of Nature creating an exquisite mandala from the warp of love and weft of luminous threads of co-creation. This is what coming home to my original kin feels like. I am thoroughly committed to my partnership with Nature and am ready to make vows for life as I step into my big heart, my Holy Heart. From this one heart space, I sense the miraculous and know that the New Earth is not only possible but already exists. Because we are a free-will species we operate by choice. Choice is not a luxury; it is a requirement. What if we choose to be in sacred trust with Nature? What if we choose to live in co-creative partnership with Nature? What if we choose to move from separation into unity consciousness? What if we choose to tell the story of interbeing? Do you love Lady Gaia enough to choose Nature? When we choose co-creative partnership, by the very essence of this relationship, we must consider what Earth and Nature want and not make assumptions. Perhaps if we make this choice and treat Nature as if she is sacred, she will respond as if we are sacred. Tate Walker, a Lakota poet, says, “I want the land to want me back.” Author Bio: Pam Montgomery is an herbalist, Nature Evolutionary, international teacher, and Earth Elder who has passionately embraced her role as a spokesperson for the green beings.
