Patrice Watley Williams~~Poetic Lyricist   She Sips Sips in the coffee house Dark, medium, light without color to blend To tell stories, often buried may never mend Pain deep to the bone, am I alone? Corner Café jazz blazing thru Clear vision earthly eyes blue Tapping a lonely dance, as I take a stand Memory or dream reality or truths No clues to the puzzle just pieces to overturn The dots may never connect stuck like glue Souls empty as he sees me through Never just a long dreamer, I’m a strong dreamer My ink is blue, dark in order to Conceal yet reveal my truths! Appeared red, no my ink is clear I did it for you Leaving words for you at the risk of you knowing My deepest fear, yet penning it sets me free. Poetically ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Spice of Life   Spice of Life Working it all out Matter of fact This lifetime  Is passing me by My lowest lows My highest highs Turning life around Can’t be easy I trust, I believe I pray, should come easy Nothing ever does Counting and counting Obsessing, progressing Conversation with myself Small ego but Many accomplishments Loving life, just want it right Small sacrifices to make Making life so contrite What am I supposed to do To get through The energy feels good Nothing wrong with dreaming Needing the reality Seemingly the more I live The more I want it Like an addiction, but not Flavor so right Like it’s supposed to be Never want to live without The spice of life!
