A Silent Connection
Doing all that we do
Maintaining our sanity
Needing to get away
Taking time out for us
Daydream the dream
Floating out to sea
Blue skies just you and me
Gazing at the silent night sky
Stealing away a kiss
Hearing the noiseless air
Amazing it is
The comfort of
The oceans waves
Arms intertwined together
Our voices uttering not a word
Still in time
Knowing we're at peace
Looking, listening speaking no words
But hearing everything.
We are connected.......................silently.

What does it take to make it through
The road to you
Not that I’m ready for you
I just have so much love for you
So much more to give to the world
For you
What does it take to be true to you
To be in the stars with you
Not that I’m ready for you
Just wanna be sure I get to you
Just wanna hold on to you
Not that I’m ready for you
Just wanna spread love for you
Give my world to you
I just can’t stop living for you….

When It Rains, Come To Me…
When it rains, Come to me, Come to me, When it rains
Even in the midst of hail, Come to me, When it rains
Seek the comfort, Of love you know, Not of false love
Some other being, May attempt to show, Through the storm
Allow me to calm your inner being, The way we talked about,
And vowed to sustain, Come to me, When it rains
Straining to keep the rain, At a minimal, Let’s slow our pace,
Allowing fate to erase, Hurt emotions, Shifting our gear
In the right direction, So when I’m slightly distant, Give me space
But not a whole to slip, And fall into, And possibly get lost or drown
Let me know you’re there, Let me know you’re around, At all cost
Let’s not get lost, In the heat of anger, Acting like strangers
Putting our love in danger, Right where it hurts the most
Allow me in, to soothe your soul, We realize it only hurts when it rains
And if we must let it rain, Let it rain a cleansing stream, So we can get back
on track, Of our continuous dreams…TOGETHER………………
