Deep Peace

Deep Peace and Dynamic activity are the Two Poles of Successful Living In the Well of Deep Peace, you will find your True Self.
The Secret Deep peace and dynamic activity are the two poles around which the lives of truly successful people revolve. I know it's also true that you see a lot of seemingly successful people who appear to be a non-stop whirlwind of constant activity... but how long does it last? Or to put it more correctly, how long do they last? Unfortunately, many of these people die of heart attacks or suffer from all sorts of unpleasant stress-related diseases and problems. Why? Because they haven't learned the secret of balance—the secret of deep peace. They haven't yet learned that deep peace is the true source and secret behind activity which is genuinely dynamic, focused, on target—and consistently successful. Deep Peace What do I mean by deep peace? Deep peace is actually the Nature of our Universe. Behind the constant, magnificent act of creation, before the unmanifest becomes the manifest, there is this deep peace I am talking about. And once we, humble human beings that we are, get in contact with this deep peace, we not only realize our true nature, but all our activities become infused with more power than we've ever dreamed of. Getting in Touch With Deep Peace It all sounds very nice, you're thinking, but how do we go about finding this state of deep peace? In fact, there are many ways. Here are some of them: - Meditation - Silence - Being in nature - Practicing non-judgement - Prayer The goal of all these practices or techniques is to quiet your inner dialogue. If you're not already aware of it, once you try any of the techniques mentioned above, you will immediately become aware of the turbulence, the incessant chatter that is going on inside your head. For many people, this discovery is quite a surprise. When they try to sit quietly, they're overwhelmed by a constant flood of thoughts, ideas, pictures and inner talk. How can one ever get this chatter to stop—and find and experience deep peace? First of all, these techniques take practice. But take heart, the more you practice, the easier it gets. And pretty soon you'll have quick and easy access to the deep peace which will provide you with a strength and vision you never knew you possessed. Meditation As you probably know, meditation is a great way to experience deep peace. And since there are many different techniques and ways to mediate, there is no reason to make it complicated or esoteric. Pick a technique that suits your needs. And if you're like me and you like to keep things simple, you can start by just focusing on your breathing for 5 to 10 minutes. And every time you discover that your mind is wandering, just go back to focusing on your breathing. Another good way to quiet the mind is sound meditation (to meditate on a word or sound). There are many so-called mantras or sacred sounds you can use. The OM sound is a very good sound to start with. Once you are sitting comfortably, breathe in and as you breathe out—say OOOMMMMM aloud. Let the sound vibrate throughout your whole body and consciousness. After you've said OM aloud for a little while, you can just continue to repeat the sound silently in your head. Then, just experience the silence and deep peace. You can start with just a few minutes a day and extend the length of time to 10 or 15 minutes. Instead of OM, you can also use the words “deep peace”. Again, relax and start again by inhaling and exhaling and then say “deep” as you inhale and “peace” as you exhale. After a few times, you can continue saying the words silently in your head. Then let the words go and experience the silence. You may also choose other sacred words or sounds... whatever triggers a state of deep peace in you is Good. Heart (Love) Meditation Another good way to meditate is again to sit comfortably, breathe deeply and then focus your attention on your heart area. Then imagine your heart filled with light and love—and see your heart opening so that this light and love is flowing out into every part of your body... flooding every cell, touching every corner of your being. As the sensation grows, you will feel the light and love spreading in ever-widening circles. Then visualize and feel the light and love spreading to your family, friends, associates and fellow human beings—everywhere in the world. Deep Peace Cures Dis-ease Experiencing deep peace on a daily basis is a good way to cure yourself of discomforts and dis-ease. Because in fact, when you think about the place in your body where you are experiencing pain or discomfort (for example, a sore throat or a stomachache), this is just a small island of discomfort in a huge ocean of comfort (which is your whole body). In other words, in relation to who you really are (and don't forget your true nature is universal), your pain or dis-ease is a small island of discomfort in an ocean of ease or comfort. So if you are experiencing pain or discomfort anywhere in your body, you can expand your meditation by envisioning an ocean of deep peace, an ocean of ease and comfort surrounding and dissolving the island of discomfort you are experiencing. Simply see and feel this island being washed away by this loving and overwhelming ocean of deep peace, ease and comfort which is your true Self. Silence and Nature Another good way to contact and experience deep peace is to practice silence. And the combination of silence and Nature is always a miracle worker. This is because when we're out in Nature, especially in places where other people seldom go, we remove ourselves from the collective consciousness. We get away from the incessant chatter that's going on all the time, in all the minds of all the other people in the entire human race. Of course it's nice to be quiet in your own home, especially if everyone else has gone out, but often there is simply too much distraction when you're at home. The other thing about being out in Nature is that most people can feel or contact the God Force more easily when they're not distracted by the consciousness of other people. (And remember to turn off your smart phone!) There are fantastic places on the Planet where the energy or Force is especially strong. Make it a point to find and go to these power spots. Power spots are good places to practice silence and experience deep peace. Power spots are genuine shortcuts to getting in touch with your True Self which is Deep Peace.
