1. Flower

For whom does the flower bloom?
By whom is it praised as excellent?
When it falls, who will pity it?
For whom does it strive all its life?

2. Returning Home
By Chen Yuyao (10 years old)

The city is full of tall buildings.
The countryside is picturesque with green mountains, clear waters, birds singing and flowers fragrant.
This is the contrast.
Even if I can't get out of the mountains,
I am willing.

3. Osmanthus

Hey? Can you smell that?
These waves of fragrance,
Whose is it?
Hey? What's that?
Wow, it's osmanthus!
This rich aroma,
Can be smelled from all directions of our home.
I won't allow it that no one has smelled the fragrance of osmanthus yet,
Because the osmanthus wants everyone in the world
To smell its fresh fragrance!

4. Loss

My father has uremia.
If one day he passes away,
I will be very unhappy.
I am afraid of losing my friends and other family members.
When I grow up, I want to be a soldier.
To protect my friends,
To protect my family,
To protect my country.

5. Ode to Beans

Bean, bean, bean.
Little bean vines,
Climb up the trellis.
After autumn,
I harvest mung beans with my mother.

Su Yun, 17 years old, is a member of the Chinese Poetry Society and a young poet. His works have been published in more than ten countries. He has published two poetry collections in China, namely Inspiration from All Things and Wisdom and Philosophy, and one in India titled WITH ECSTASY OF MUSINGS IN TRANQUILITY. He has won the Guido Gozzano Orchard Award in Italy, the Special Award for Foreign Writers in the City of Pomezia, and was praised by the organizing committee as the "Craftsman of Chinese Lyric Poetry". He has also received the "Cuttlefish Bone" Best International Writer Award for those under 25.

*Note: All these poems have obtained the approval of their teachers, who personally submitted them to me. Additionally, consent has also been given by the teenagers themselves and their parents.
