Patrice W. Williams/Poetic Lyricist   On Purpose…. Through my highest highs, my lowest lows I was stuck like glue, until I gave it all to you A natural at what I do. Creating experimental portraits in one’s mind Writing through my pain, broke every chain. Once healed and peeled back the layers Got up, strutted out Into my faith, my value shining Outside of my think skin, and heart of gold Faught the greatest fight, created a new mold. Even in my quiet storm Possessed with personality to be chosen Shaved my rough edges with primer Became a soulful mixture of watered soil To remember my shine, my glow up. I saw my dedication and devotion Propelled into my purpose And gave myself a promotion.
