How am I doing?
A spiritual understanding shows us that there is more, so what is it we are trying to achieve with repeated incarnations into the plethora of physical existence in multiple planets, dimensions and universes? Why is a life on this intensely physical planet with its diverse range of experience from extreme pleasure to pain, with hardship, despair or comfort and peace, so appealing?
From the many descriptions given by those re-experiencing answers to all these questions we know that life on planet earth is highly organised, but how can we tell if we’ve been successful or otherwise?
The soul’s journey unfolds through reflection and the mapping of lessons across countless lives. Section 5: Reviews, in Life According to the Soul, invites readers into the sacred process where souls assess their earthly paths, guided by The Council or archival exploration. These sessions—spanning wide experiences—reveal spiritual evaluation’s depth. In the modern day, amid algorithm-driven distraction and post-pandemic isolation, such reviews resonate. They mirror our need to pause, find clarity, and navigate loneliness, identity, and purpose. While tailored to clients’ needs, not research, these transcripts show how introspection anchors us, offering wisdom for today’s complex world.
The Library.
The Library, sometimes called the knowledge store, is where clients review former lives from their soul’s perspective. Imagine working in a small branch of a global company, then moving to head office to see the whole operation. Some souls need this perspective; others do not. Unlike the immersive experience of reliving past lives, The Library offers detachment, like describing a play rather than acting in it. Clients perceive records differently—screens, immersion, or telepathic insight—based on their expectations. The focus is understanding, not the mechanism.
Beginning of Extract.
In this extract Hope explores her wide spiritual landscape, beginning with a heartfelt connection to her guide, Orrgon, and progressing to the ancient Library where she encounters a significant book. The Library proves to be a pivotal space for Hope, revealing past lives and insights that challenge her to face her struggles with isolation, control, and the desire for freedom. This transcript captures the raw, unfiltered nature of her testimony, reflecting both the emotional intensity and the spiritual depth of her experience.
DA: It's fine. You can do anything here. Just feel everything.
HY: I feel like...
DA: What's he saying to you?
HY: He's just... He's smiling. He's knowledgeable and... quiet. Intelligent smile. Calm. Deep. Calm. His beautiful brown eyes. We're just communing. It's such... an ache in here. He's standing outside my garden. It's like there's a... It's as if he's on the other side of a dry-stone wall. It's my garden. My space. He's just outside it. He can choose to paint my garden... or he can choose to paint what I think is his space. Which is open... It's like I imagine somewhere like, say, Cornwall... with dry stone walls and open fields and pasture. Very, very green. But... not far. A very short distance and then it's just open sea. Cliffs and open sea. And that's what he... He can choose to paint those... or that scene, or my garden, or... just the green and the pastures... and the walls. There's a house. He's got a house over there. Built of the same rocks. Stone. It's like a... It's like I imagine, like you see, a croft. It's low and close to the ground but very homely looking. And that's his house. That is his garden.
DA: You can... You can ask him into your garden if you wish.
HY: He's saying, no, that's your garden. That's your space. I'm happy to look at it, that's yours.
DA: That can remain yours. But if you wish...
HY: He says you can come into mine. You can come and see the paintings.
DA: What's his spiritual name? You can always ask him.
HY It's Orrgon. Orrgon. Orrgon. I thought he said Argon.
DA: Ask him to spell it.
HY: O-R-G-O-N. Orrgon. O-R-R. Two R's. O-R-R-G-O-N. Orrgon. He... He can take me... He can take me to the Library. He says he can take me. I feel... If I want, he'll take me to the Library. He was a bookworm. I learned to be a bookworm with him. He's offering to take me to the Library.
DA: Then go.
HY: He used to take me to the Library when I moved. We used to go Saturday mornings together. But this is... This is a bigger Library. This is a more ancient Library. This is... Volumes and volumes. He's climbing some wooden steps. Like... Like you see... It's almost like pulpit steps. But it leads into this... Or through and around this vast... Vast... Wonderful... Collection of... Books and maps. And... It feels very, very old. I can feel him walking ahead of me up these steps. I'm not sure if I'm walking up them yet. With him. I must be. Because I'm now on a level... I didn't feel myself walk up. But I'm now on a level with him. Where he is... Doubting again.
DA: Just focus on what's happening.
HY: He's put a... There's a big... What do you call it? Like a lectern. But crossed between a lectern and a table. Yes, the book is slightly tilted. But it's too heavy to be on something less solid than it is, and it's... huge. Oh. I don't know. It's about a metre tall; it looks like... It's got clasps and... Gems on it. And... It's... Heavily... Very heavily bound. It's not frightening. It's not daunting looking at it. But I feel it's very significant. Okay.
DA: Does he want you to go and look in it?
HY: He's inviting me to. Just... With his hands. Just... Indicating the book. He's standing to the side. As I'm standing... I have to move in that direction to open it. Am I ready to open it? He's indicating... He's not saying anything. He's not giving me anything more than just... Calm assurance and... telling me it's in my own time. At the same time now looking back... for... Is it Lois or my mother or someone else? To also reassure me.
DA: Then begin to open the book.
HY: I've moved him in front of it. I'm feeling... All the cover. It's... It's so... There are so many... It's metal... and jewels... and... material. and... I can't make the colours out there. But I don't think that's necessarily important. I can just feel the things. I can... maybe I have to feel my way into the book. There's a single clasp in the middle. The clasp feels very heavy all of a sudden. When I made the decision to open it... It was as if a sudden weight settled down, and... It's holding my arms down on the book. And not allowing me... No, not allowing me. I'm not being prevented. I'm preventing myself. Gosh. It feels so heavy.
DA: Hold the book again ready to open it.
HY I can't lift my arms to it.
DA: Now you can open the book. And tell me what's inside.
HY: I've still not got past that clasp. My mother gave me permission to open it. She told me I could give myself permission to open it. It's so big. And you can do that. It's so easy because it will just open when you want it to open. I feel pretty spacey at the moment. I can't find what will give me permission to pull that cover back.
DA: Oh, that's easy. You can.
HY: What stops me? Pig-headedness. Stubbornness.
DA: Remember, Rihanna, you are completely safe. Enveloped in this golden shield of light. It will keep you protected from all things. And just as soon as you decide to give yourself permission... The book cover will just open.
Narration:
Rihanna is her spiritual name. Also, you’ll notice me interject with a safety protocol which was introduced during the hypnotic induction, so she knows what it means and how it can protect her. I felt it was necessary to get past this obstacle. You’ll see other interventions later in the process.
End of Narration:
HY: I can't myself. I've reasoned that. I've remembered that there is nothing to fear. Only fear itself. I've set up the fear. And I can walk through it at any time I want to. And find that it was... an illusion. If I understand, then it can't hurt me. Nothing will hurt me. There is nothing to fear. Only the fear that I set up and I know I can go... I know I can create. I know I can create. I've created my garden. I've created my space. I've created something really beautiful. I have it in me to... create the illusion of fear. And I have the ability... to remove that creation if it doesn't suit me. If it doesn't suit my purpose. I can remove that fear. And open to all that I need to open to. To learn. To move on. To grow. To progress. To move towards that light, I'm still trying to get to.
DA: Let's come back to the book. The book's still here. Let's open it. And just open it.
HY: I've opened the cover but I'm not looking at what's there at the moment. I need time... to get past that. But it will be exciting. And stimulating. And enlightening. Gosh, I want that so much. My mind has taken up that position again. And moving me towards, gently towards... that book.
DA: Take that strength from Lois and use that to help you to look.
HY: I'm looking... I'm at the book. I'm looking into it. But it's not a page. It's like a... It's like a... a sort of well. But it could be a well or a screen. If it's a well, it's not dark. It's got life and colour there. Maybe it's a... a sort of screen.
DA: Well, we can call it a screen.
HY: Yeah. I'll call it a screen. Um... But it's something I can enter. Yeah. To enter into it. To move... I'm moving into it. I don't know how I'm doing that, but I'm moving into it. And it's... It's a... It's a... Just a... Comfortable... Country... Gentle rolling hills. It's just something to give me some comfort. A breathing space for the moment. Ah, I see. I'm not actually in it. It's... The book is still here. It's a page, but it's like a live page, and it draws me in, and then I feel part of that page, and then I can turn it. I can turn that page now. To the next one. That was just to gentle me in. There are people in this one.
DA: Do you recognise them?
HY: They're coming out of the page. They're coming... They're part of a scene now. They're... Ah... excited. But I can't make out individuals.
DA: What's their dress like?
HY: It's more like I'm seeing them as... Colour. Light colour rather than... I can't see their sort of recognisable forms.
DA: I understand. Do you sense anything about the period in which these people lived?
HY: Greek Roman time maybe? It's warm.
DA: Is one of these people you?
HY: Yes, I think so. There's a very beautiful, tall, olive-skinned, black-haired woman. Probably... I don’t know. In her twenties. In her prime. Very, very beautiful. Very... Graceful. I can't... I feel she's me. I don't feel part of her, but I feel she's me……………

The Council.
The Council is a formal evaluation, overwhelmingly positive, where souls are guided, not judged. Typically involving five members led by a senior figure, its setting varies, but encouragement dominates, as seen in Isabelle’s jewelled elders. Dr. Michael Newton’s work details soul progression, colours, and seniority. Guides remain silent, offering support, while detailed descriptions of The Council members validate clients’ experiences, grounding spiritual memories in earthly reality.
After a life, some souls require reflection, though not all. The transcripts in Life according to the Soul prioritise clients’ needs over research, so explorations may shift to follow their benefit, not curiosity. This section illuminates how their soul’s growth is perceived, rather like a plenary session, offering universal lessons for connection and purpose.

Abigail’s session centres on her interaction with The Council, a pivotal encounter that addresses her soul’s progress and challenges. Accompanied by her guide, Rendon, Abigail engages with the elders to reflect on her lessons of loneliness and independence. The session also touches on her identity as a Hybrid Soul, with incarnations split between Earth and other non-physical realms of tones and light. The Council serves as the focal point for Abigail’s exploration, offering insights into her current life’s heaviness and her struggle to connect with humanity, illuminating her spiritual journey towards balance and acceptance.
DA: So, where is it important for you to go now?
AZ: I need to meet the elders first. I need to meet The Council first.
DA: Okay. Does... does Rendon support that?
AZ: He's... he's... yeah, he's... he's coming with me.
Narration:
Rendon is her guide.
End of Narration:
DA: Okay. Well, let's go then. When you get there, describe the surroundings to me.
AZ: It's like... there are columns. Columns, yeah? Columns there, sort of slightly raised like a step. And there they are. One, two, three, four, five. One is in the corner.
DA: Are they facing you in a line?
AZ: Well, it's a bit of a semi-circle. A bit of a semi-circle?
DA: Yeah. How far away from you are they?
AZ: Well, two or three metres. I'm fairly close. I can still see all of them.
DA: Who is the most important?
AZ: Ah, it's the one in the middle. It's big. It's bigger than the others, and he grins.
DA: Does he present as male or female? He's a male. Describe him.
AZ: He's... it's... he is... he is not tall in measurement, but he has a presence that makes him feel very tall. And he's got a radiant yellow gown, if you like... of course, he doesn't wear a gown, it's just... he likes that. He likes that yellow and all that. I like him very much.
DA: Is he wearing anything else?
AZ: Oh, he's wearing this big black wig, which makes his hair stand out... it looks as if he has hair like a huge afro. He's having fun with me. He's very friendly, he smiles. And he has something around his neck.
DA: Move closer and have a look. Have a closer look and describe to me what it is.
AZ: It's a bird. It's a bird, like... rising. A bird just taking off. And then some dahlias, which reminds me of the phoenix.
DA: What is he communicating to you?
AZ: He's sort of telling me that it's good to have me back. He knows it was tough last time. He's sort of patting me on the back a bit, welcoming me. And it was as if in the last life I had to learn to be on my own. And I certainly did.
DA: Was it a successful lesson?
AZ: Yes. Yes, it was successful.
DA: What else do they have to say to you?
AZ: That I should go and plan my next life. That I've been doing okay in the last one. It was about being independent, learning how to cope with loneliness.
DA: What about this one?
AZ: Oh, in a way, I think that was a preparation for this one. Because in this one, I will be lonely.
DA: Do they have any observations to make about how you are progressing in this life?
AZ: They say I'm doing all right. I shouldn't worry too much. But there are things I don't understand in this life.
DA: You can ask them.
AZ: And I want to know why I've never been able to think something through. I can't plan ahead properly. I can only think so far, and then it's all gone. And then I follow my impulse. And it's gone okay. But it's as if I'm not using my mind properly.
DA: What do they have to say about that?
AZ: I could do it if I wanted to, but I don't want to. I don't understand why I don't want to. It's as if I was given this mind to explore things but not to go too deep. There’s so much to explore that I can't take the time to... I don't know.
DA: And what's the primary lesson for this life?...............
