Why is allowing yourself to truly “feel” so important when it comes to healing? Because Love, Kindness and Respect, which are all high calibration emotional frequencies, indicate our alignment with the God Force and make us feel good and make the body go strong. Which is what healing is all about. This can be proven by Kinesiological testing, which demonstrates that the body’s muscles go strong when in the presence of Truth (Love, Kindness and Respect). Whereas disrespect, unkindness and abuse (or the absence of Truth) do not feel good and make the body go weak. Which leads to illness and disease. (Again, muscle testing shows that these negative emotional states make the body go weak).
This is why we are able to heal when we can honestly tell the truth and allow ourselves to feel what we really feel. Because these true feelings (what we are honestly feeling – and not what we think we’re supposed to feel) will always show us what in our lives clearly leads to healing, i.e. Love, Kindness and Respect, and what doesn’t.
I’ve written a book about what I call our Inner Compass, in which I describe this Inner Compass as our direct connection to the God Force or the Great Universal Intelligence that created all of Life including us. And I explain in this book how our Inner Compass is always giving us signals from within as to what is going on in our lives and whether the people, activities and situations we are in or involved with are in alignment with Love, Kindness and Respect. In other words, are we in alignment with positive, high frequency energy states, which are in alignment with Truth and which make the body go strong? Or not? This is a very important question because this is what true healing is about. In brief we can say that true healing is all about being in alignment with the God Force or Truth. And this is why it is so important to understand that the Kinesiological muscle test demonstrates that the muscles of our body go strong in the presence of Love, Kindness and Respect (which is Truth). And this alignment is the living proof of what happens when we heal.
Therefore, we can see that health and wellness are the result of being in alignment with the high frequency emotional states which we call Love, Compassion, Kindness and Respect. When this happens, we are in alignment with Truth, which is the Life Force. And being in alignment with the Life Force, which is God, automatically makes the body goes strong and then healing can occur.
This is why I always say to my clients, if you want to get well and heal, start by telling the truth. Start by telling the truth about what happened to you and about what is happening to you right now and how this makes you feel. And be honest. Let yourself feel what’s going on with you. And then ask yourself – is what is going on in your life or what went on in your life, in alignment with Love, Kindness and Respect (which translates into Truth) – or not? And then see what comes up.
And if discomfort comes up, then it’s important to look at that. Why the discomfort? Where in your past or present is there lack of Love, Kindness and Respect? What is this all about? Why are you allowing – or why did you allow – this to take place in your life? What is this all about? Are there relationships in your life that are disrespectful and unhealthy? And see what comes up? Can you be honest with yourself? What is it you need to look at? What do you need to clean up? I highly recommend this if you want to heal. I highly recommend you give this a try and take the time to look and explore these issues.
And finally, here is a simple but wonderfully effective technique you can use to help you deal with any painful or upsetting emotions that may come up as you start telling the truth and begin allowing yourself to feel what you are feeling. It’s called “Letting Go” and this technique was developed by the late, great spiritual teacher David Hawkins. Hawkins writes: “The Mechanism of Letting Go: Letting go involves being aware of a feeling, letting it come up, staying with it, and letting it run its course without wanting to make it different or do anything about it. It simply means to let the feeling be there and to focus on letting out the energy behind it. The first step is to allow yourself to have the feeling without resisting it, venting it, fearing it, condemning it, or moralizing about it. It means to drop judgment and to see that it is just a feeling. The technique is to be with the feeling and surrender all efforts to modify it in any way. Let go of wanting to resist the feeling. It is resistance that keeps the feeling going. When you give up resisting or trying to modify the feeling, it will shift to the next feeling and be accompanied by a lighter sensation. A feeling that is not resisted will disappear as the energy behind it dissipates.” From the book “Letting Go – the Pathway of Surrender” by David R. Hawkins
So to summarize, if you want to promote healing and well-being, allow yourself to tell the truth and see what comes up and then allow yourself to feel what you feel. And then remember that health and wellness are always the result of being in alignment with such high frequency emotional states as Love, Kindness, and Respect (all of which are in alignment with Truth or the God Force). And being in alignment with Truth always makes the body go strong. Which is what healing is all about.
